Gorgeous Niue underwater boasts many things to do, such as pristine beaches, stunning coral reefs, and a vibrant marine ecosystem. During the Niue Humpback Whale expedition, we’ll explore this untouched paradise together.
Prepare to be awe-struck as you encounter majestic humpback whales in their natural habitat. Guides will join us to ensure a safe and respectful encounter, allowing us to observe these magnificent creatures in their element. Beyond the whales, Niue’s waters teem with a kaleidoscope of marine life, including many dolphins. Moreover, on the Niue Humpback Whale expedition, we dive beneath the surface to discover colourful coral gardens, tropical fish, and other fascinating creatures that call this underwater world home. From tranquil snorkelling sessions to thrilling whale and dolphin encounters, every moment in Niue promises to be filled with adventure and wonder.
However, it’s not only about the open ocean; we will also do some incredible snorkelling trips in the chasms (such as the Matapa Chasm) surrounding the island.
Actually, there’s a lot to do on land, too. If you wish to be more adventurous, various hikes and biking trips (together with me) are also part of your package. If you’d prefer to relax on the beach with a good book, indeed you’ll do just that!
If you are a photo enthusiast, I’m also offering daily tutorials and critique sessions as part of this trip. Because it’s vital to capture stunning photos in Niue, I’ll assist you in setting up your gear correctly for each shoot and show you how to care for it correctly, ensuring years of use.
Where do we stay?
You’ll stay on the island in quaint and comfortable bungalows with a private bathroom, a kitchen, wifi and a tv.

The Humpback Whale expeditions occur at Niue Islands during the middle of the annual migration of humpback whales to the coastal waters surrounding the island. Niue is a small island nation in the South Pacific Ocean. It’s known for its limestone cliffs and coral-reef dive sites. Migrating whales swim in Niue’s waters between July and October. In the southeast is the Huvalu Forest Conservation Area, where trails through fossilized coral forests lead to the Togo and Vaikona chasms. The northwest is home to the rock pools of Avaiki Cave and the naturally formed Talava Arches
